Setting up a Pop3 on Apple Mail is easy – simply follow the steps below:

1. Open Apple Mail.
2. Click on "File" from the Mail menu in the top toolbar.
3. Click on the "Accounts" tab.
4. A new pane will open for you to set up your new account. (See below)
   
   
   
   
5. Fill in your Firstname and Lastname.
6. Enter your name and email address.
7. Type in your password.
8. Click "Continue".
   
   
9. Select the email account type, i.e.: POP
10. Add a description, i.e.: My mail email address
11. Set the incoming mail server to mail.YourDomainName.com i.e.: mail.pelicandream.com
12. Enter your full email address under username and the password for your email account.
13. Click "Continue"
    
    
14. Set the outgoing mail server to smtp.YourDomainName
15. Make sure "Use Authentication" is checked.
16. Enter your full email address under username and your password.
17. Click "Continue".

Using Authenticated SMTP

1. Click on the "Account Information" tab.
2. Click within the "Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)" drop-down box.
3. Click on "Edit Server List".
4. Click within the "Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)" drop-down box.
5. Click "Add Server".
6. Set the server port to 587
